Sunil's Home

I'm working on a web site redesign for an orphanage called "Sunil's Home." The guys are looking for a fresher look than the current site, but would still like to keep the "child drawn" look and all content will remain the same. Any feedback you guys have would be great, thanks!

The site I am working on can be viewed here.

after looking at the current site, I think it's the first time I ever recognized "brush strokes" from illustrator actually used somewhere... heh...

Maybe try a some hand-drawn imagery for the logo and mix it with some more conventional type.

I could also see this website using a lot more color rather than the typical clean & white corporate look.

I think that's a good idea, I have to keep the logo the same though. I will try to use hand drawn elements in other ways though.

Thanks Jason

That look nice and I like what you are doing for those children. Did you try having a paper as the background which is like children's homework notebook. The layout also is like four separate blocks of rectangle and look so much organized. I think it takes away from the innocent childish look of the web site.
